Uretania is a project of my two sculptor friends, Dániel Sallay and Levente Leitner. They envisioned a world full of objects and creatures based on polyurethane instead of carbon. In turn, I envisioned a process in which humanity would give way to the inhabitants of Uretania. The tracks tell this story.

Cardle: This is the world before the Industrial Revolution.

Rise: Formation of Uretania by human activity.

Interrelationship: The coexistence of humans and Uretania in a reciprocal relationship with the danger that anyone can no longer live without polyurethane but she/he just doesn’t realize it.

Fool’s Errand: a futile struggle, something like when we realize too late there is trouble.

Memento To…. : a memento without an object. Anyone could be the object of memento, but since there are no more people, no one to remember. This is how the memento stays on its own.

I use Lyra-8 (1), Moog Sub 37 (2), my modular system (3), these intruments together (4) and Veronika Harcsa’s voice (5).
